Here are some common reasons you may not be able to sign up for a Cheese Credit Builder Account – and how to fix them.
- You already have a Cheese profile and are trying to create a new one. If you’ve had a Credit Builder Account before, use the same login info to apply for a new account. We're not able to reopen closed accounts, but you can apply for a new one, with some exceptions.
- You started signing up for Cheese with a different email address. Even if you didn't open an account, if you started signing up with one email, our system won't let you create a new profile with a different email and the same Social Security Number. Instead, log in using the email you used before and finish signing up through that profile. Once you’re logged in, you can change the email on your account.
- There's an ID verification request waiting in your email inbox. Please check the email associated with your Cheese account for details and upload your ID as requested.
